KRUI is pleased to announce a new program, Daytrotter Radio, that will launch on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM. We have recently teamed up with Daytrotter, a website that posts live recorded sessions of independent bands, to give you a full preview of a session that will be posted to download for free the following day on their website.  Daytrotter.com, started in 2006 by Iowa Alum, Sean Moeller, is based out of Rock Island, Illinois. Every day, these live recordings, containing previously released or unreleased tracks, are unveiled to the public. Tune into Daytrotter Radio on KRUI 89.7, Your Sound Alternative where we will give you a first listen to a recorded set in its entirety.

KRUI is proud to announce the launching of The Lab @ KRUI, an internet-based branch of the station with its own programming and content. The Lab will offer unique programming in the afternoons and evenings from KRUI’s newest DJs. With the addition of the The Lab, KRUI hopes to expand the already vast programming and ensure every listener a chance to hear the songs they love.
