Background |  | Background airs Thursday night from 6 to 8pm on KRUI. I start the show with that week's episode of CounterSpin. Following Counterspin I play a variety of indie rock, downtempo instrumental, and electronica music. Bands such as Mogwai, Boards of Canada, and Architecture in Helsinki are some of my main influences. |

Daytrotter Radio |  | Daytrotter is a website for listeners to discover new music that is either previously released or unreleased at their discretion for free. Each session is recorded live in Rock Island, Illinois at the Horseshack Studios and posted on their website for listeners to download or stream.
